RICE WASTAGE. Philippine Rice Research Institute deputy executive director Karen Barroga says the agency is lobbying for Congress to pass a law mandating food establishments across the country to serve half-cup servings of rice as default to address wastage of the country’s staple food, during a press briefing in Malacañang Palace in Thursday (Nov. 9, 2023).
