MANILA – Three ranking police officials have been included in the latest reorganization of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

In a June 27 order that took effect Friday, PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil designated Legislative Affairs Center head, Brig. Gen. Rogelio Peñones Jr., as the new deputy regional director for operations of the National Capital Region Police Office.

Meanwhile, Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 (Davao) deputy director for administration Brig. Gen. Wilson Soliba was named as the new director of the Logistics Support Service.

Col. Warren Tolito was designated as acting director of the Communications and Electronics Service.

This is the seventh revamp of police officials since Marbil took over as PNP chief on April 1.

Marbil earlier said the reshuffle is necessary to "preposition" officials who are fit for their next assignments. (PNA)
